City theatre company was formed in September 2007 after a general feeling between the membership of our parent company Brighton & Hove Operatic Society that the name was dated and did not reflect the modern image of our activities which include concerts, musicals and drama.

Brighton & Hove Operatic Society was formed in 1889, and has been producing shows for almost 120 years in the Brighton & Hove area. For more information please visit the BHOS website at www.bhos.org

CTC is delighted to have Brian Capron as its patron. Brian is a familiar face on TV, from Grange Hill to Coronation Street, where he received a clutch of awards for his portrayal of serial killer, Richard Hillman, to Strictly Come Dancing (he woz robbed!) He also starred in the Rocky Horror Show in the West End, then joined the fabulous West End Production of Guys and Dolls as Nathan Detroit on tour with Claire Sweeney
